Here are some resources if you are an engineer and plan on doing a session at Primary Sound

Lists are available as downloadable .pdfs below

  • You must have experience as a studio engineer and a strong knowledge of analog consoles, Pro Tools, patch bays, and general signal flow. You should be punctual, professional, and communicative. You are expected to arrive at the session before or with the ensemble. Arriving after the ensemble is not acceptable and you may lose the privilege of recording here. Your files and your data are your responsibility, you must back up data to your hard drive and neither you or the ensemble shall hold the studio accountable for data loss. You will be responsible for the safe operation of hundreds of thousands of dollars of equipment, and you and the ensemble you are working with will be jointly and separately responsible for damages or injury due to carelessness, negligence, or inexperience.

  • Sometimes mics get damaged, be sure to ask about specific mics you require
